Because William Golding chose to use a third-person omniscient narrator, we are able to see a variety of action and how a variety of characters react. This means that there is quite a bit of potential for dramatic irony.
Since you are all older and wiser than the characters and because you all know what is happening everywhere, you should be able to see these examples of dramatic irony. You need to explain how using dramatic irony creates tension in the reader. |
